BIMMER TEK offers a wide assortment of applications for Brakes. The 2 levels of replacement systems we offer are:- Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)
- Super High Performance (Racing)
The Brands that we deal with on a regular basis are: Brembo, Zimmermaan, Textar, ATE, Pilenga, Akebono, PBR, WBR, & Original Equipment.
Through our vast network of suppliers and purchase power we can offer these brands at reasonable pricing. Our most common OEM repair package consists of Zimmermaan coated rotors and WBR Ceramic pads. We are generally able to offer these for most applications at a cost of $160.00 per wheel installed. The Performance package consists of Brembo or Zimmermaan rotors with Akebono ceramic racing pads. This application is generally offered for most applications at a cost of $195.00 per wheel installed. For an additional $50.00 per wheel the performance package can be upgraded to cross-drilled format.
COOLING SYSTEM
Water Pumps, Radiators, Hoses, & Thermostats are the 4 major components of the cooling system that most commonly require repair. BMW Cooling systems are mainly comprised of plastic parts that start to deteriorate around 100,000KM. Many part suppliers have addressed this problem by manufacturing with metal rather than plastic to provide a longer service life. BIMMER TEK utilizes these new parts for repairs to ensure that the repair will have an extended service life with regular maintenance.Changing the Coolant at specified maintenance intervals will greatly reduce the stresses on the Water Pump, Thermostats, Hoses, and other key components of the cooling system. Bimmer Tek recommends changing a vehicles coolant every 24,000KM or 2 years unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.
